With the new Anatomic Coloured, Zirkonzahn has now introduced another high-quality zirconia material for fabrication of dental restorations. The distinctive characteristic of this new material lies in the fact that the blocks are available for purchase already pre-coloured in different colour shades.
Usually, the metal oxides necessary for coloration of the restoration are applied onto the zirconia structure in a special working step (via immersion or brush technique). In the case of Anatomic Coloured, the colouring substances are added to the zirconia powder already during the first production steps. This results in a comprehensive homogeneous colouring of the material.
Anatomic Coloured A3
Due to the pre-colouring of the blocks, the manual colouring working step becomes obsolete, resulting in time savings during production. In this way it is also possible to avoid differences in characterisation, caused by dissimilar working techniques of the dental technicians. In addition, this provides more safety in the working process. Anatomic Coloured will be available in the 16 shades of the VITA colour scale.
Anatomic Coloured A2
The final characterisation of the restoration with Anatomic Coloured is obtained through the use of stains and ceramic layering. The new zirconia material is compatible with the ICE Zirkon Stains, the ICE Zirkon Stains Prettau® and the ICE Zirkon 3D Stains by Enrico Steger. During ceramic layering, the consistent colouring of the material provides a particularly good base for aesthetical designing with dental ceramics.
The range of indications of Anatomic Coloured ranges from individual crowns to full-contour 14-unit bridges. The new zirconia material satisfies the highest demands even without ceramic layering, meaning that is also possible to work fully anatomically.
