Content: | In this course you will learn the new Prettau® Skin® technique for the production of ultra-thin veneers (0.2 mm) made of Prettau® zirconia. You will also get a step-by-step overview of the basic software functions needed for designing zirconia veneers. In addition, you have the possibility to design and mill your own Prettau® Skin® and finally characterise it according to your preferences. |
Programme
Day 1 (all-day)
- General introduction to the topic
- Introduction to the cementation of zirconia veneers
- Realisation of individual zirconia veneers with Zirkonzahn.Software
- Digital creation of individual zirconia veneers in Prettau® 2 Dispersive® (Note: please send immediately after your course registration an intraoral scan or a digitised model of your oral situation to education@zirkonzahn.com and bring the plaster or printed model to the course)
- Creation and milling of individual mock-ups (13 – 23) on the basis of the acquired data
- Sintering the individual zirconia veneers overnight
Day 2 (all-day)
- Finalising the individual zirconia veneers with ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger
- Elaboration and try-in of the mock-ups
- Introduction to the use of the intraoral scanner Detection Eye
- Recap of the learned content and clarifying open questions
